LOS ANGELES: Rapper and singer Kanye West in 2015 took the MTV award’s stage to announce that he will run for president in 2020.Everyone present cheered as they though he was joking but as it turns out he was pretty serious!
It seems like ‘ANYONE’ can run for the American Presidentship!
Singer John Legend in an interview was asked if he thinks West is seriously considering the job ? if he was able to shed some light as both are on good family terms.
To which he said “He’s said it multiple times. Yeah, I think he’s serious.”
“I’d guess he’d run as an independent, but he’s never told me anything about what party he would run from. But he’s said multiple times that he’s interested in running for president.” Legend Added.
Kanye has hinted himself that he might be considering for the feat.
Responding to a question on a radio show Kanye said;
“If I decide to do it, it will be done, I’m not going to try,…Yes, 100 percent it could happen if not in 2020 …2024.”
Speaking about his potential presidency, he added: “One of my main things once I’m president is the medical industry. I’m going to make sure that the medical industry flourishes.”
If hypothetically speaking America votes for a rapper President just imagine Kim Kardashian West as the First lady!
The Karjenners would be shooting their reality show inside the White house! That would certainly add to the TRP’s!
