Rasheed asks Imran to name Senate 'ticket traders'

ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister, Pervez Rasheed on Tuesday demanded Imran Khan to name the person who offered him Rs 15 crore for the Senate ticket, ARY News reported.

Talking to media on Tuesday, Pervez Rasheed said if the PTI chairman does not name the man, then he will specify the one to whom Khan sold the ticket.

On the other hand, Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique met the chief of Pashtunkhwa Mili Awami Party (PkMAP), Mahmood Khan Achakzai.

During the meeting, Rafique said that the government is determined not to let non-democratic forces take a lead in the Senate elections.

On the occasion, Mahmood Khan Achakzai slammed that the ones leveling allegations of horse-trading are themselves supporting independent candidates.
