Minister asks India to fulfill promises with Kashmiris

ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister, Pervez Rasheed Sunday asked India to fulfill the promises it made with the people of Kashmir, instead of dreaming of becoming a member of the UN Security Council, ARY News reported.

The information minister said that India will have to improve its ties with countries in the region.

He demanded Pakistan’s arch-rival to fulfill the promise which Jawahir Lal Nehru made with the people of Kashmir to hold a referendum.

Rasheed stressed that the resolution of Kashmir Issue is utmost necessary for the sake of regional peace and prosperity, and the entire Pakistani nation is unified for the independence of Kashmir.
