Addressing a press conference together with Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Minister of State for IT Anusha Rahman, Pervez Rasheed said that Imran Khan falsely declared a report by some observers, as ECP’s report on rigging of elections.
He stated, “The PTI chief delivered 120 false speeches during the past 30 days and leveled baseless allegations”.
Rasheed also said that Islam suggests flogging the one who levels false allegations on others.
The Information Minister challenged Imran Khan to arrive at the floor of the assembly and show any of his allegations mentioned in the observers’ report, which was misquoted as ECP’s account.
He added that Parliament is such a forum, where any political party can present its stance in a positive manner and it will be addressed.
Moreover, Pervez Rasheed called the Finance Minister Ishaq Dar to present bit-by-bit answers to all the allegations leveled by PTI, following whom Anusha Rahman also briefed the journalists.
