RAWALPINDI: Sixteen people were hurt in a blast outside a restaurant in Rawalpindi, ARY News reports on Friday.
Eight motorcycles were destroyed whereas the windows of the restaurant were broken due to the explosion.
According to police, the explosives were planted in a motorcycle. Police, while calling the incident as a result of not giving extortion, said that the restaurant owner had received an extortion letter.
City Police Officer further said that the CCTV footage will be used in the investigation of the blast.
No ball bearings were used in the explosives, Police added.
