Rawalpindi Incident: Suspects awarded 13 days physical remand

RAWALPINDI: 19 suspects behind the Rawalpindi Incident have been awarded 13 days physical remand here on Wednesday – ARY News reports.

 

The remand was awarded by Judge Rana Masood of the Anti Terrorism Court. The court has also ordered a medical checkup of the suspects.

 

Eleven people were killed on Day of Ashura during the tragic incident.

 

The suspects, involved in subversive activities, were apprehended by the law enforcing agencies through the CCTV footage of the event and eye witness accounts. The law and order situation remained tense for a few days after the incident.
