Rawalpindi ‘knife attacker’ arrested with two accomplices
Suspected attacker Muhammad Ali was said to be involved in an attack on women in Morgah area of Rawalpindi. He is arrested with two alleged accomplices who help him in attacks on women with sharp edged weapons.
The accused has been identified by one of his victim who was injured in the stabbing attack, police sources said.
The accused have been transferred to an undisclosed location for interrogation.
According to reports, around 40 women have sustained injuries in various incidents of knife attacks in the area.
Police sources had earlier called the accused a mentally unbalanced person. The suspected accomplices facilitated the accused in the knife attacks at night during loadshedding hours, officials said.
