ISLAMABAD: The Spokesperson of the PM House has said that there is no reality in the release of Taliban prisoners, these were the tribal men involved in minor crimes – ARY News reports.
In a statement issued, the PM House Spokesperson denied that the political administration of South Waziristan released 16 Taliban prisoners. It was stated that the news is not factual; these were laymen from tribal areas, who were involved in minor crimes.
The Spokesperson further mentioned that the Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif has not yet approved the release of Taliban prisoners held by the law enforcement agencies (LEAs).
