Speaking to ARY News, PPP Senator Rehman Malik said that holding peaceful protests is a democratic right of everyone even if it is Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan or Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri.

“14th August is a symbol of national unity. It will be a test for the government if anyone did not get invitation for the ceremonies”, Rehman said.

He added that an atmosphere of suffocation is being felt in Islamabad.
