Relatives of cannibal brothers attack policemen
LAHORE: Police officers deployed outside the residence of two cannibal brothers in Bhakkar district, who were charged and arrested for eating five corpses, were attacked by relatives of the accused men, ARY News reported Wednesday.
Three of the cops were injured in the attack. The cannibal brothers – Arif and Irfan – were addicted to eating human flesh by exhuming graves.
In 2011, both the brothers were highlighted by the media involved in an inhumane practice. They were also awarded one-year imprisonment each, but the cannibals did not give up their wild habit.
Police again arrested them red-handed at home after protest by the area residents.
