No relief being delivered to poor, middle classes, says Siraj ul Haq

PESHAWAR: Ameer of Jamat e Islami (JI), Siraj ul Haq has expressed his hopes for the success of negotiations process with Taliban, yet he stressed on the need of clearing all the hurdles in the way of its success – ARY News reports.

During his address with a ceremony of mass wedding of 25 couples at Markaz e Islami, Peshawar and talking to media later, Siraj ul Haq said that there are some obstacles in the way of talks, which need to be cleared first, whereas efforts for sabotaging the negotiations process are also continued.

He said that the system of the country is such that the poor and middle classes are getting no relief, children were dying of starvation in Thar, but on the other hand, millions of rupees were being thrown on the Sindh Festival.

Siraj urged the authorities for taking true measures to reduce the issues of poor people, so that their lives could also be made easy.
