Report filed against PTI Chairman, others for organizing rally despite of a ban
LAHORE: An application has been filed against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, Ameer Jamat e Islami (JI) Syed Munawwar Hassan, Awami Muslim League (AML) Head Sheikh Rasheed and thousands of workers over taking out the rally against inflation in the country despite of Section 144 imposed – ARY News reports.
The application was filed in Old Anarkali police station against Imran khan, Munawwar Hassan, Sheikh Rasheed, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Makhdoom Javed Hashmi and nearly some 2000 workers of the opposition parties.
It was mentioned in the report that they took out the rally on the Mall Road despite of a ban imposed.
According to the report, PTI leaders were informed time and against not to organize any rally, but they still violated the law.
Officials told that the report can formally be given the form of a case anytime.
