LAHORE: A resolution condemning the terrorist attacks on mosques in New Zealand was submitted in the Punjab Assembly secretariat on Saturday, ARY News reported.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MPA Malik Taimoor submitted the resolution, stating that the terrorist incident has saddened the Muslims across the globe.

He demanded that the Pakistan government approach New Zealand authorities for a swift probe into the horrific incident.

Attacks on two Christchurch mosques left at least 49 dead Friday with one gunman — identified as an Australian extremist — apparently livestreaming the assault that triggered the lockdown of the New Zealand city.
