ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan has said rigging was the biggest threat to democracy, ARY News reported Thursday.

Talking to media in Islamabad, the PTI chief said people will lose confidence in democracy if their elected representatives were defeated through rigging.

Khan said his party knocked every door to seek justice in a year, but to no avail. Hence we decided to take to the streets, he added.

The PTI chairman reiterated that government would be responsible if they attempted to stop the peaceful protest demonstration of PTI on May 11 in Islamabad.
