On the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day, which will be observed countrywide tomorrow (February 5), Altaf Hussain said right of self-determination should be given to people of Kashmir.
“People of occupied Kashmir have scarified many lives for the acquisition of their right of self determination”, he added.
Expressing solidarity with people of Kashmir, Altaf Hussain hoped that their sacrifices will definitely paid off.
Kashmir Day is in observance of Pakistan’s support and unity with the people of Indian-administered Kashmir, their ongoing freedom struggle, and to pay homage to Kashmiri martyrs who lost their lives fighting for Kashmir’s freedom. On this day, solidarity rallies are held in Pakistan, Azad Kashmir and by Kashmiri diaspora in United Kingdom.
