According to details, the school van crashed into an oncoming speeding vehicle near a saline water drain. The road crash ignited a fire in the van.
Locals of the area retrieved the van driver and the children from the vehicle before the situation got worse.
Police and rescue teams arrived at the scene and shifted the wounded to a nearby hospital for medical attendance.
Eye witnesses said that the accident took place as the debris of the previous accident was not completely removed by the concerned authorities from the spot.
