No room of a military coup in constitution: Gillani

MULTAN: Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani, former Prime Minister of Pakistan, has said that the constitution of Pakistan does not have any provision of military coup, ARY News reports on Wednesday.

Speaking at a press conference outside his residence in Multan,Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani said that he is not concerned whether the government completes its term or not. He added that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) will continue to support the decisions which are in favor of the country.

The former prime minister further said that the stance of PPP regarding terrorism was clear from the start and the position of other political parties have also shifted towards them.

Former PM, while answering a question, said that the Prime Ministers have the privilege to make appointments.
