Royal Air Chief visits Air Head Quarters, Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Chief of Royal Air Force, Air Chief Marshall Sir Andrew Pulford visited the Air Head Quarters, Islamabad earlier today, whilst the Chief of Pakistan Air Force (PAF), Air Chief Marshall Tahir Rafiq Butt welcomed the honorable guest – ARY News reports.

According to details, a freshly turned out contingent of the PAF presented Guard of Honor to Sir Andrew Pulford. He placed a flower wreath on the monument of the martyrs of the PAF at the Air Head Quarters.

The Royal Air Chief was introduced with the Principal Staff Officers (PSOs). He met his counterpart at his office, where he was briefed about the professional structure of the PAF.

Later, Sir Andrew Pulford visited PAF Academy, Risalpur where the Air Officer Commanding, Air Vice-Marshall Rashid Kamal greeted him.

The Royal Air Chief was given a briefing on the organizational and training structure of the academy. The honorable guest visited the College of Aeronautical Engineering, Air Defence Training School, School of Air Traffic Services, Simulator Squadron of the PAF and Flying Instructors School.

During his visit, Sir Andrew Pulford also witnessed training facilities, aero-space and avionics laboratories.

Moreover, he went to the Air Defence Command of the PAF and had a detailed briefing about it by the officials.
