ISLAMABAD: Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said the revenue target for the next fiscal year was fixed at Rs 2.8 trillion, ARY News reported.
The minister stated this during an Economic Coordination Council meeting on Wednesday in Islamabad.
The meeting was told that the budget deficit target will be pitched at 4.8%.
Dar informed the meeting that budget deficit target of 5.8 % laid down by IMF for the ongoing fiscal year would be met easily.
He told that rates for gas will be increased for promotion of investment in discovering oil and gas reserves.
