Rumors buzzing for the remake of DDLJ

TOP NEWS

MUMBAI:  Indian ace director Aditya Chopra is planning a remake of Shahrukh Khan and Kajol starrer 1995 blockbuster film ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaayenge’, ARY News has learnt.

According to Indian sources, the rumors are buzzing in the country that Aditya will work on remake of DDLJ, the all-time Blockbuster and the biggest Bollywood hit of 1995.

DDLJ became the definition of romance amongst lovers and till date, the film’s theme tune played on guitar can fill hearts with love which many of the Bollywood romantic songs cannot do even today.

The reports revealed that Aditya Chopra is planning to adapt the story and set in a modern way by roping new actors for the evergreen iconic roles of Raj and Simran.

But the apparent reprised version of DDLJ will definitely look incomplete without the presence of original Raj and Simran i.e. SRK and Kajol hence, it is heard that both will play a cameo in the film.

Meanwhile, it is even buzzed that veteran Bollywood actors Boman Irani and Paresh Rawal will reprise the roles of Anupam Kher and Amrish Puri.
