KARACHI: The rupee regained its value against the dollar on Monday after witnessing the decline on Thursday and Friday last week, ARY News reported.
The rupee increased by 40 paisa against dollar, closing at Rs 98.92 and Rs 99.10 for buying and selling respectively in the inter-bank market.
The national currency in open market dropped sharply against the dollar closing at Rs 99.65 and Rs.100.20 for buying and selling respectively.
According to currency market dealers, the improvement in supply of dollars made the rupee strengthened against dollar.
