ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office Spokesperson Nafees Zakaria on Monday said Russia has shown keen interest to boost its relations with Pakistan.
In an interview with PTV tonight, he said Pakistan will welcome any move to enhance bilateral ties.
He said that Pakistan is blessed with a suitable geo-strategic location and possesses great potential, therefore, many countries are desirous to promote ties with Pakistan.
The spokesperson said that economic development is vision of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and he is pursuing his strategy diligently to achieve the objective of progress and prosperity.

The first ever joint Pak-Russia military exercises “Friendship 2016” were held in September this year.
A contingent of Russian ground forces participated in the joint exercise between the two militaries.
