TOP NEWS

ABU DHABI: Pakistan and South Africa will meet in the third ODI at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi on November 6, opening batsman Hashim Amla has been returned to participate in the remaining matches, ARY News reported.

Amla, who ranked second in Test and ODI batsmen rankings, left for home to attend the birth of his second child after the first of two Tests in the series which ended 1-1.

Amla wasn’t the part of the team in the first two ODI, the series between the two is leveled by 1-1.

South Africa seemed Amla’s inclusion in the team as a bonus that will surely help them to strengthen the batting lineup, as in the first two ODIs South Africa were shot out for 183 and 143 respectively.

Besides Amla, the return of pace spearhead Dale Steyn will also bolster South African bowling. Steyn had left for home to rest after the second Test.
