SA Women beat Pakistan by three wickets

DOHA: Pakistan women's cricket team was defeated by South Africa by three wickets in the sixth ODI of PCB Qatar Women's 50-over Tri-Series at West End Park International Cricket Stadium, Doha on Wednesday, ARY News reported.

Pakistan’s women choose to bat but weren’t remained impressive and lost wickets at regular interval. At one stage they were struggling at 32 for 3 in the 15th over.

Top scorer from Pakistan, Bismah Maroof, who scored 30 runs provided the stand of 42 runs with skipper Sana Mir(14).

But the back to back dismissal of two triggered another collapse and they were all out at 101.

Leg spinner Dane Van Niekerk took 5 wickets in her 6.4 overs spell conceding 17 runs.

The start of South African women also shaky with early breakthroughs leaving them at 3-32 but Shandre Fritz's unbeaten 43 on 87-ball guided South Africa Women to a three-wicket win over Pakistan Women in 43rd over.

The two have already qualified for the final of Tri-Series and will play final on Friday (January 17).
