Saba Qamar to play honour killing victim in upcoming movie

Saba Qamar is earning accolades for choosing her first Bollywood project wisely and as far as the trailer suggests, she has done a pretty good job.

As if this was not enough, Saba announced that she is playing an honour killing victim in her next project and the character she will play will be of Qandeel Baloch, the social media star whose killing “in the name of honour” sparked a debate in the Pakistani society.

In July last year, social media celebrity Qandeel Baloch was strangulated to death allegedly by her brother in Multan. Police had registered a murder case against her brother based on her father’s written complaint, in which he accused his son of killing his daughter for honour because “his son wanted her to quit showbiz”.
