ISLAMABAD: National Assembly (NA) Speaker Ayaz Sadiq on Thursday constituted a parliamentary committee on National Accountability Law.
According to Radio Pakistan, the committee was formed by NA speaker after consultations with leaders of parliamentary parties and Senate Chairman Raza Rabbani.
The committee will go through the National Accountability Ordinance 1999 and suggest amendments in it.
The 20-member committee with comprise of 13 National Assembly members and seven senators.
The committee is expected to make rules in order to regulate its procedures. It will present its report within three months.
