It should be noted, the sectarian violence and discrimination against the Rohingyas in Myanmar have caused thousands to migrate from the country through boats.
An estimated 1.3 million Rohingya make up a minority in Rakhine, one of Myanmar’s poorest states while countless are still trapped in camps, with conditions often worsening.
