Saeed condemns death penalty to JI official, 13 others in Bangladesh

KARACHI: Ameer of Jamaat ud Dawa'a, Professor Hafiz Muhammad Saeed has said that the Bangladeshi authorities are violating the agreement signed between Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Sheikh Mujeeb ur Rahman and demanded the Government of Pakistan to take up the issue of 14 people sentenced to death including a Jamat e Islami (JI) official, in the UN Security Council – ARY News reports.

While condemning the death sentence to JI official in Bangladesh, Hafiz Saeed urged the Government of Pakistan to take practical measures against it by calling a meeting of the UN Security Council.

He said that the JI leaders in Bangladesh are being punished only for their affection with Islam and Pakistan.

The Jamat ud Dawa'a Chief stated that India is stressing Bangladesh for executing as much JI leaders as it can and with such wicked acts the Ideology of Pakistan is once again activated in Bangladesh.

He further mentioned that doing so, Bangladeshi authorities are violating the agreement signed between Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Sheikh Mujeeb ur Rahman in realm of the Fall of Dhakka.
