ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Senator Saeed Ghani on Saturday said that country could perform much better if the government accepted four demands made by PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto.
He said Pakistan was facing problems due to not having a permanent foreign minister.
One of the four demands of Bilawal is to appoint a foreign minister.
In a statement issued by PPP Media Office Islamabad, Saeed Ghani said that terror incidents have increased in the country because National Action Plan has not been implemented.
He said that the interior minister is not aware that sectarianism is one of the main reasons of terrorism in the country.
The PPP senator said that Pakistan-China Economic Corridor is Asif Ali Zardari’s vision.
He demanded to implement opposition bill already passed in the Senate regarding Panama corruption. National Accountability Bureau has failed to blackmail former federal minister Dr Asim Hussain, he concluded.
BILAWAL’S FOUR DEMANDS ARE:
To implement the resolution regarding China-Pakistan Economic Corridor
To re-constitute a parliamentary committee on national security
To pass Panama Bill drafted by Pakistan People’s Party
To immediately appoint the foreign minister
