Sahara for Life Trust kicks off relief campaign in Tharparkar
LAHORE: 'Sahara for Life Trust' has kicked off its relief campaign for the famine-affectees in Tharparkar, renowned singer and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader, Abrar ul Haq has vowed that affected people will be provided every possible assistance to make them stand again on their own – ARY News reports.
Addressing a press conference here, Abrar ul Haq told that initially 4 trucks of relief goods and a team of doctors has been sent to Tharparkar.
He told that a field hospital has also been established in Mithi by Sahara Trust, where 6 specialist doctors and 20 paramedics are busy in serving the people day night.
Abrar further added that his trust has also initiated a fund raising campaign on the international level for Tharparkar victims of famine. He said that Sahara for Life Trust has always served the people at the front line in case of any calamity.
The singer-turned-politician involved in social activities vowed that the people of Thar will also be provided every possible assistance to stand on their own.
