Saima asks veteran producers to join hands with ‘young, educated filmmakers’

LAHORE: Eminent film star Saima Noor has urged the professional old producers to rejoin the film industry to share their expertise with new producers.

“Now educated and professional people are making films which are going to be successful,” she said in a media interview in Lahore.

Saima Noor has said that Pakistan film industry has been progressing for the last many years.

She said that local film industry was ruined by non-professional film producers, who refrained from introducing new subjects.

“However, some professional producers and directors made very good films in the past,” she said.

Other silver screen artists also hailed new film makers’ role for revival of local film industry.

Actress Ayesha Omar has said that young filmmakers played important role for revival of Pakistani film industry.

“Our filmmakers have produced excellent and quality projects,” she said in an interview to media.

Actress and model Neelum Munir has said that Pakistan film industry has entered into a new era.
