One of India’s biggest production houses, Eros International, might find itself in a fix. The film is producing John Abraham’s film Welcome Back as well as Salman Khan’s Hero remake. You might think both of these films would release on different dates (owing to the same production house) but no! Salman and John are headed for a clash as both their movies release on September 4th!

Salman Khan has co-produced Hero with Eros International and does not star in the movie. The movie stars Sooraj Pancholi, Athiya Shetty, Govinda and Vinod Khanna in important roles. Athiya Shetty is actor Sunil Shetty’s daughter. After John Abraham had announced via a tweet on June 29th that his film Welcome Back was slated for a September 4 release, Salman tweeted a  prompt response.

The two Bollywood superstars have had sort of a rift between each other when John Abraham made a snide remark at the time of his Madras Cafe film release. John had stated that his film was more realistic than Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger.

A little healthy competition will do nobody bad and will most probably be good for business. However, care should be taken that this conflict does not transpire out of business and become personal. After all, both Salman Khan and John Abraham are respected actors who have achieved a lot during their film careers.

May the best movie win!
