Salman Khan to feature in longest Bollywood song ever!
Oh yes, the Bodyguard star will be seen shaking a leg for the longest duration in a song which is going to span for thirteen minutes! The choreographer spilled the details as to how that is exactly going to go down.
Speaking to DNA India, choreographer Ahmed Khan said, “There is a 13-minute song in PRDP, which I have choreographed for. It’s the longest song in Bollywood ever… It is just one full song… It takes the story ahead… Salman will be seen playing football at a marriage ceremony. He has danced in the song in a different attire altogether… There’s a unique magic to the number. ”
Prem Ratan Dhan Payo will be directed by Sooraj Barjatya who has had the pleasure of working with Salman on more than one occasion. The duo has collaborated in previous blockbusters such as Maine Pyaar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hai Kaun and Hum Saath Saath Hai. An important fact to note here is that previously Indian music composer Anu Malik had composed a 20 minute song for Ab Tumhare Hawaale Watan Saathiyo in 2004 but the song had been cut and used in several parts of the film. This time though, Salman will be featured during the entire thirteen minutes of the song, uncut!
Prem Ratan Dhan Payo has an ensemble cast as it stars Sonam Kapoor in the lead with Salman Khan. Also, Neil Nitin Mukesh will feature in the movie directed by Sooraj Barjatya. Previously, the film received a slight setback when Sonam Kapoor fell victim to swine flu and had to be hospitalized. Salman was also tested for the same disease but he turned out to be fine.
Lets hope the thirteen minute song will not be a drag and will turn out to be a groovy delight. Also, the maverick Salman should come up with new moves if he has to mesmerize the audience for 13 minutes long.
