KARACHI: ARY News program 'Sar e Aam' team headed by the anchorperson, Iqrar-ul-Hassan has been staging a condemnation sit-in at the Mazar-e-Quaid against the desecration of the mausoleum – ARY News reports.
According to details, Sar e Aam team staged condemnation sit-in against the renting out of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah's real grave room to couples.
Iqrar-ul-Hassan revealed in an exclusive episode of Sar e Aam, how the real grave of Quaid-e-Azam was being rented out to couples to pursue their desires against Rs 2500 only.
Leaders and workers of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), representatives of the civil society and a large number of people from all walks of life participated in the sit-in to express solidarity with Sar e Aam team, in its mission of exposing and curbing evils in the society.
Political leaders on this occasion, condemned the desecration of Quaid's mausoleum in the strongest of the words and demanded the authorities to hold all those responsible of this heinous practice.
Meanwhile, the resident engineer of the mausoleum also reached the demonstration and told the protestors that a case was registered against the members of the administration involved in this wickid act, as soon as the news was out. He told that the people behind this are under the custody of law and will be dealt with accordingly.
The resident engineer of Mazar-e-Quaid thanked Sar e Aam team for directing the attention towards such an issue.
