Sardar Mehtab resigns as KP Governor

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has accepted resignation of Khyber Pakhtonkhwa Sardar Mehtab Abbassi and sent it to the president for approval, ARY News reported.

According to reports, Abbasi decided to step down as KP governor as he wanted to take part in the parliamentary politics.

The government is considering several names of Pir Sabir Shah, Salahuddin Tirmizi and Senator Zaffar Iqbal Jhagra for the vacated slot of KP Governor.
