PESHAWAR: Senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) Sardar Mehtab Ahmad Khan Abbasi took oath as Governor Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa in Peshawar on Tuesday.
Chief Justice Peshawar High Court Mazhar Alam Miankhel administered the oath.
Following the oath taking ceremony, speaking to media Mehtab Ahmad Khan Abbasi defined rehabilitation of innocent people that were migrated from FATA as his top most priority. He said ongoing peace process with Taliban will be led to its logical conclusion.
The governor said forgiving those people who respect law and constitution is fair enough but sinner cant be released from prison.
