‘Sarmay-e-Pakistan’ company established to eliminate state owned entity’s losses

ISLAMABAD: Aimed to eliminate losses of the state owned enterprises in the country, the federal government has set up a holding company under head of ‘Sarmay-e-Pakistan’, ARY News reported on Friday.

Underscoring the need of formation of the company, Finance Minister Asad Umar in his message on the micro-blogging website twitter said, the company to eliminate the losses being faced by the state owned enterprises to uplift the country.

In order to put the economy back on the track, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-led federal government was taking numerous steps.

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday(February 1) had reiterated his resolve to make Pakistan self-reliant with effective policies of the  present government.

He was addressing the inaugural ceremony of “Pakistan Banao Certificate” in Islamabad. The PM exhorted the overseas Pakistanis to come forward and enthusiastically purchase the certificates to make this scheme a success.
