KARACHI: MQM leader Farooq Sattar has blamed police for torturing to death the MQM worker, whose funeral prayers were offered today, ARY News reported Monday.
Talking to media after offering funeral prayers of slain MQM worker Ashfaq Qureshi, Sattar said Qureshi was abducted and badly tortured before his body was dumped.
He alleged that police shifted the body to Edhi morgue to conceal their crime. Police tortured the MQM worker to death, said Sattar.
He demanded of the inspector general Sindh and chief minister Sindh to take notice of the incident and got FIR registered against the responsible police officials.
“It is an open terrorism to kill workers of MQM,” said Sattar.
