ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Interior Shehryar Afridi said on Thursday that Prime Minister Imran Khan and Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman share the vision for the Muslim Ummah

The state minister recalled the historical visit of Prince Muhammad to Pakistan last month and said “the crown prince advocated the case of Pakistan on his visit to India, for which the whole Pakistani nation is grateful from the cores of their heart.”

The visit of the Saudi prince added a new chapter to the decades old ties between the Kingdom and Pakistan, Afridi said adding, “The Saudi investment of $20 billions will turn out to be a milestone in strengthening the bilateral relations.”

On the other hand, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Adel Al-Jubeir has touched down in Islamabad on a daylong visit today.

During his visit, the Saudi minister will hold meetings with Prime Minster Imran Khan and Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi to discuss bilateral matters and regional situation.
