Saudi Minister Obaid Madani meets Special Assistant to the PM Tariq Fatemi

ISLAMABAD: Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr. Nizar Bin Obaid Madani has called on Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Syed Tariq Fatemi in Islamabad on Sunday, ARY News reported.

On the occasion they discussed the issues related to regional and mutual cooperation.

Tariq Fatemi said Pakistan considers its relations with Saudi Arabia on top priority and Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif wishes to initiate a new era of strategic relationship with neighboring countries.                                               

He said the longstanding relation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia is based on firm foundation.

The Saudi Minister, Dr. Nizar Bin Obaid Madani said his country wants to boost ties with Pakistan in diverse fields.                        

He said the two countries share a common vision and challenges‚ which need to be addressed through joint efforts.                                           

The Saudi Crown Prince Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud selected Pakistan as the first among Asian countries to visit as both the countries shares same religious and cultural values”, he added.
