The notorious target killer who rocked Pakistani political scene with his startling revelations about target killing met his family and told them that the he has accomplished his task and does not want anyone to repeat the mistakes he did, sources told ARY News.
This was the first meeting between Saulat Mirza and his family members after the formation of JIT which took Saulat Mirza’s detailed statement before the team.
JIT was formed as last month, hours before the killer’s planned execution, a video was released on media as his last statement.
Saulat Mirza claimed that he killed KESC MD Shahid Hamid on direct orders from Altaf Hussain as he and three others were called on Babar Ghouri’s house where on a phone, MQM chief Altaf Hussain gave orders to kill Shahid Hamid.

The video had Mirza claiming that MQM protects target killers, criminals through Sindh Governor Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ibad Khan while one of the founding members of the party Azeem Tariq was killed on the orders of party chief Altaf Hussain.
Saulat’s wife in her several interviews claimed that the murderer was a party worker and prominent leaders of MQM helped them during the proceedings of case against Saulat but also promised the family to get him released.
The family reached their hometown Karachi after meeting the ill-fated prisoner.
