ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan has turned down the investigation report of police regarding a missing person Masood Janjua, whose case is pursued by his wife Amna Masood Janjua – ARY News reports.
According to details, a three member bench headed by Justice Nasir ul Mulk heard the case here on Monday.
During the hearing, the bench expressed its dissatisfaction over the investigation report submitted by police and inquired about the ones not fulfilling their responsibilities.
The court while directing the authorities to provide the affidavits of 6 out of 11 nominees in the case, to the claimant Amna Masood Janjua, ordered for the submission of statements by rest of the 5 nominees in the court within a week.
The SC further warned that in case of affidavits not being submitted in the court, the Secretary Defence will have to file an explanation.
The hearing of the case was adjourned for a week's period.
