In a statement, Rasheed remarked that he presents the SC verdict in which the apex court rejected petitions seeking to invalidate 11 May 2013 elections as a ‘New Year Gift’ to Imran Khan.
The Minister while terming the rigging allegations ‘rubbish’ maintained that election results cannot be judged on roads through sit-ins.
It must be noted that Pakistan’s Supreme Court rejected three petitions regarding election rigging on Saturday.According to the verdict, the court asked the petitioners “Since we were not provided any assistance on the propositions, we refrain from dilating upon them,”.
