KARACHI: A school principal was shot dead near Nazimabad area in a broad daylight today, ARY News reported.
The incident took place near Naziamabad Gol market, where armed men targeted the man.
Police said the deceased man was the principal of a private school. He was identified as Syed Farhan Shah. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Police cordoned off the area after the incident and began collecting the evidence. They said holes of 9-mm bullets were found from the crime scene and it seemed the incident was targeted killing. However, the motive behind the killing would be determined once the probe completes, they added.
