According to details, Rangers personnel on a tip off raided a house in Afghan Basti near Super Highway.
Terrorists present inside the hideout opened fire on the law enforcement personnel. Three of them were killed in retaliatory fire by Rangers.
Arms were recovered from the hideout out of the trerrorists belonging allegedly to a banned outfit.
The dead bodies were shifted to the hospital while they are yet to be identified.
TTP terrorists, 19 others nabbed by police
On the other hand, police nabbed four terrorists belonging to Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) from Gulbahar area of the city claiming that the militants were involved in extortion, target killing and other criminal activities in Orangi Town.
Firearms, hand grenades and an auto rickshaw were recovered from the arrested militants.
19 suspected criminals were taken into custody during a police search operation in Shah Faisal Colony and Alfalah areas of the city.
In a late night operation, 13 suspects were arrested from New Karachi area of the city. Police personnel recovered 7 different types of weapons from the arrested suspects.
