ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) announced the judgment of the Adiyala Jail Missing Persons case today – ARY News reports.
A three member bench supervised by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) announced the verdict.
In its verdict, the apex court has ordered the missing persons to be presented in the court. The court has ordered the immediate release of the missing persons as they cannot be kept in custody without legal formalities.
It is also stated in the judgment that the facilities according to the law will be provided to the persons in the detention centres. It is further stated that complete medical treatment will also be provided to the detainees.
