ABU DHABI: Pakistan went for lunch at 95/2 on the first day of the second test match against West Indies at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Friday, ARY News reported.

Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat first.

Pakistan lost their first wicket with six runs on the board as Azhar Ali, who scored a triple century in the first test at Dubai, was bowled on a duck by Shannon Gabriel.

West Indies then reduced Pakistan to 42/2 as Sami Aslam’s furniture was disturbed by Devendra Bishoo.

Asad Shafiq is batting at 54 runs from 90 deliveries with six boundaries to his name. Younis Khan is at the crease with 29 runs with a boundary to his name.

It should be noted that Pakistan lead the three-match test series 1-0. The side won the first test at Dubai by 56 runs.
