The arrested militants have revealed that they belong to banned outfit Daesh. The militants had attacked ARY News Islamabad office on Wednesday, January 13 of this year. A hand grenade was thrown by the assailants and gunshots had been fired by them.
Security forces had repelled the attack by retaliating at the attackers. A non-linear editor was also injured during the attack.
