Security forces arrest two suspected terrorists in KP

RAWALPINDI: Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Sunday said security forces thwarted a ‘terrorist plot’ by arresting two suspected militants in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, ARY News reported.

The arrests were made during search operations carried out on tipoff in the villages of Karebai Oghi and Charangada in Mansehra. A 20kg Improvised Explosive Device, dozens of hand grenades, an Ak-47 rifle and rockets were also recovered from the suspects.

On the other hand, Rangers have arrested a target killer in Karachi belonging to military wing of a political party. A huge ammunition and forty packets of hashish were also recovered from his possession.

While, SSP Malir Rao Anwar has claimed to have killed three terrorists including an al-Qaeda commander near Quaidabad area of Karachi.
