Security forces vehicle targeted in South Waziristan landmine blast
WANNA: At least two security personnel were injured in a landmine blast in Shawal area of South Waziristan Agency here on Sunday, ARY News reported.
According to Political Administration Federally Administrated Tribal Areas (FATA) account, the roadside blast injured two personnel of security forces when forces vehicle was passing by the area.
Two days ago, in a car blast near Noor Market in Parachinar city of Khurram Agency FATA, 24 people lost their lives while over 70 others injured.
The critical injured persons were shifted to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Peshawar through helicopters.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had condemned the blast. The government also announced financial and relief package for the blast victims of Parachinar.
It is pertinent to mention that Pakistan Army launched countrywide operation against terrorists on February 22 in wake of series of terror attacks in the country.
